Alexandria walked aimlessly down the street, trying to clear her head, slowly breathing in the crisp air. A boy was walking towards her, all dressed in black. She did not like the look of him. There was something about him that made her nervous. Concerned that meeting his eyes would constitute as a challenge of some sort, she looked down and crossed the road, and tried to make it look like she had decided to cross the road a long time ago. Because she crossed the road she did not see what Niclas saw, and was thus headed right into the fray.

CH. 2 : A Witness' Weakness Niclas wore darkness like an old shirt. It fit him comfortably, and he was swallowed in it. It concealed his secret weaknesses, his proverbial loose fat. Enjoying all the little details. Something told her this was an important day and to take it all in. So she was. The day was almost over, and she was wondering what was so important about it.
